Internship-Research Assistant

An internship as a research assistant at Energia Technologies, located in San Leandro, CA, is available for a student seeking to gain good experience in the field of advanced fuel processing. The Intern will be working with senior researchers in the area of energy technology. The Intern must enjoy building experimental systems and assemble experimental components including reactors, pumps, small compressors, pressure transducers, thermocouples, controllers, heaters etc. Responsibilities of the Intern also include running experiments to carry out chemical reactions for fuel conversion, collecting relevant data and analyzing experimental results. The Intern should be familiar with operation of analytical equipment such as gas chromatograph. Junior or senior students in chemistry, mechanical engineering or chemical engineering are encouraged to submit resumes.
